We listen, act, and transform
I believe every person is their own best counselor... that you carry that inner wisdom, and my role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your authentic whole self. I draw on my training and lived experience to help you strengthen your own voice, while also honoring the systemic barriers that may have made it hard to access your most authentic self. You deserve the space to tell your story—and the freedom to revise your narrative in ways that align with your values. My path into this work has been shaped by a deep commitment to learning and service: I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology as a McNair Scholar, followed by dual master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling, and later a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision with additional graduate certificates in Grief, Loss and Trauma, and in Evaluation, Statistics, and Measurement. I am licensed in multiple states (CO, MN (home state), ME, NE, OH, OR, and TN), board‑certified as an Approved Clinical Supervisor and Telemental Health Provider, and trained in suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and de‑escalation. Over the years, I’ve been honored with awards such as the Outstanding Practitioner Supervisor Award from Chi Sigma Iota, and I remain an active member of ACA and ACES. My work now includes providing clinical counseling, offering wellness consultation in areas like psychoeducation, life skills, stress management, and college and career planning, supervising emerging counselors, and teaching full‑time at a CACREP‑accredited university. In my online private practice, I integrate acceptance and mindfulness with relational‑cultural advocacy to support clients in building lives that feel grounded, meaningful, and truly their own.
